Definate Cheif Aim: Questions to Analyze Yourself

**I apologize for the long delay in posting. I have been working on a new project that has taken most of my time, though I am grateful for the lessons I have learned from Hill so that I can complete this project more quickly than I once thought possible.**

As you can find the free book online for The Law of Success, and the material is at times outdated, I am posting here Hill's self-analysis test. This is found in both Think and Grow Rich, and The Law of Success the 21st Century Edition (pg 151-153).

Use these questions to gain the best understanding of yourself.

-----

Do you complain often of "feeling bad," and if so, what is the cause?

Do you find fault with other people at the slightest provocation?

Do you frequently make mistakes in your work, and if so, why?

Are you sarcastic and offensive in your conversation?

Do you deliberately avoid the association of anyone, and if so, why?

Do you suffer frequently with indigestion? If so, what is the cause?

Does life seem futile and the future hopeless to you? If so, why?

Do you like your occupation? If not, why?

Do you often feel self-pity, and if so why?

Are you envious of those who excel you?

To which do you devote most time, thinking of SUCCESS, or of FAILURE?

Are you gaining or losing self-confidence as you grow older?

Do you learn something of value from all mistakes?

Are you permitting some relative or acquaintance to worry you? If so, why?

Are you sometimes "in the clouds" and at other times in the depths of despondency?

Who has the most inspiring influence upon you? What is the cause?

Do you tolerate negative or discouraging influences which you can avoid?

Are you careless of your personal appearance? If so, when and why?

Have you learned how to "drown your troubles" by being too busy to be annoyed by them?

Would you call yourself a "spineless weakling" if you permitted others to do your thinking for you?

Do you neglect internal bathing until auto-intoxication makes you ill-tempered and irritable?

How many preventable disturbances annoy you, and why do you tolerate them?

Do you resort to liquor, narcotics, or cigarettes to "quiet your nerves"? If so, why do you not try will-power instead?

Does anyone "nag" you, and if so, for what reason?

Do you have a DEFINITE MAJOR PURPOSE, and if so, what is it, and what plan have you for achieving it?

Do you suffer from any of the Six Basic Fears? If so, which ones?

Have you a method by which you can shield yourself against the negative influence of others?

Do you make deliberate use of auto-suggestion to make your mind positive?

Which do you value most, your material possessions, or your privilege of controlling your own thoughts?

Are you easily influenced by others, against your own judgment?

Has today added anything of value to your stock of knowledge or state of mind?

Do you face squarely the circumstances which make you unhappy, or sidestep the responsibility?

Do you analyze all mistakes and failures and try to profit by them or, do you take the attitude that this is not your duty?

Can you name three of your most damaging weaknesses?

What are you doing to correct them?

Do you encourage other people to bring their worries to you for sympathy?

Do you choose, from your daily experiences, lessons or influences which aid in your personal advancement?

Does your presence have a negative influence on other people as a rule?

What habits of other people annoy you most?

Do you form your own opinions or permit yourself to be influenced by other people?

Have you learned how to create a mental state of mind with which you can shield yourself against all discouraging influences?

Does your occupation inspire you with faith and hope?

Are you conscious of possessing spiritual forces of sufficient power to enable you to keep your mind free from all forms of FEAR?

Does your religion help you to keep your own mind positive?

Do you feel it your duty to share other people's worries? If so, why?

If you believe that "birds of a feather flock together" what have you learned about yourself by studying the friends whom you attract?

What connection, if any, do you see between the people with whom you associate most closely, and any unhappiness you may experience?

Could it be possible that some person whom you consider to be a friend is, in reality, your worst enemy, because of his negative influence on your mind?

By what rules do you judge who is helpful and who is damaging to you?

Are your intimate associates mentally superior or inferior to you?

How much time out of every 24 hours do you devote to:

a. your occupation

b. sleep

c. play and relaxation

d. acquiring useful knowledge

e. plain waste

Who among your acquaintances,

a. encourages you most

b. cautions you most

c. discourages you most

d. helps you most in other ways

What is your greatest worry? Why do you tolerate it?

When others offer you free, unsolicited advice, do you accept it without question, or analyze their motive?

What, above all else, do you most DESIRE? Do you intend to acquire it?

Are you willing to subordinate all other desires for this one?

How much time daily do you devote to acquiring it?

Do you change your mind often? If so, why?

Do you usually finish everything you begin?

Are you easily impressed by other people's business or professional titles, college degrees, or wealth?

Are you easily influenced by what other people think or say of you?

Do you cater to people because of their social or financial status?

Whom do you believe to be the greatest person living?

In what respect is this person superior to yourself?

How much time have you devoted to studying and answering these questions? (At least one day is necessary for the analysis and the answering of the entire list.)

Law of Success 2: A Definite Chief Aim-Know Yourself!

As read in Lesson 2 (A Definite Chief Aim), there are questions you should ask yourself to discover who you really are. This in turn can help you to understand others.

***
To know others, not as they seem to be but as they really are, study them through:
-the posture of the body and the way they walk
-the tone of the voice, its quality, pitch, volume
-the eyes, whether shifty or direct
-the use of words, their trend, nature, and quality
***

Hill suggests that these questions will open the windows (or doors) to a person's soul. You will be able to walk in and determine many things about people that you study.

Here are more questions to go even further in the study of yourself and others.
***
...study them:
-when angry
-when in love
-when money is involved
-when eating (alone, and unobserved, as they believe)
-when writing
-when in trouble
-when joyful and triumphant
-when downcast and defeated
-when facing catastrophe of a hazardous nature
-when trying to make a good impression on others
-when informed of another's misfortune
-when losing in any sort of a game of sport
-when winning at sport
-when alone, in a meditative mood
***

Hill suggests (and I agree) that you cannot to judge others at sight. Though appearances do count, they at many times can be deceiving.

I suggest that you cannot truly know your Definite Chief Aim (or life purpose) unless you truly know yourself through study of the self in all these questions, possibly more. You may think you know your DCA, but you cannot know the full scope of it until you know yourself. I myself am still discovering so many things about myself and making great improvements as I build more and shed the old man that I was in my early 20's. Though I knew my DCA/Life Purpose, I was not aware of the full effect my life should have on others across the globe. It was after I sat in meditative thought and truly understood how I could affect the lives of others that I knew there was great potential, instead of simply what I had settled for.

I suggest you take this week to sit and ask yourself these questions. Once you have discovered who you truly are, determine if you like who you see. If not change and become better. After this decide why you were put on this Earth. What are you choosing to do to make this a much better world?

As always feel free to leave thoughts that will be open for discussion.

Law of Success Lesson 1

Inspired by The Law of Success by Napoleon Hill

Lesson One: Introduction to the Master Mind

SEEK THE COUNSEL OF THOSE WHO WILL TELL YOU THE TRUTH ABOUT YOURSELF, EVEN IF IT HURTS YOU TO HEAR IT. MERE COMMENDATION WILL NOT BRING THE IMPROVEMENT YOU NEED.

--Napoleon Hill

I have been creating a Master Mind for over a year now. I want to bring this Master Mind into the online community. The only requirement to join will be to read the book that we will be taking the lessons from. This blog will be spread about in my other blog posts about moving forward in life.

Have you ever heard of this term? What is the Master Mind? I thought it was simply a game until I read the book, a game I never truly understood.

Have you ever noticed that there are teams that run groups or businesses? The Master Mind are all those who come together for a united purpose. This could be a united purpose in meeting a certain sales quota, or a specific profit margin in a quarter. This as well could be as simple as keeping a kitchen clean in a home. Though all involved must have their mind on the goal or it will fail. If you have even one person setting the plans for success who is not in agreement that the goal is worth the work, it will be severely hindered. Ally yourself with those minds who will all focus on one idea. If you do not do this, you will always find yourself struggling to obtain your dreams.

Now am I suggesting that you drop all of your friends that do not support your goals? No, but you certainly do not need to spend the majority of your time with them. In fact evidence of this Master Mind will be this. Find the 5 persons you spend more time with than any other people in this world. Add all of their yearly incomes and divide it by 5 (or take the average of their income). This will generally be your income. If you are not where you want to be, get your mind around other minds that are doing what you want to do? You will naturally pick up the thought processes they already have.

I am excited to work with others on this Master Mind project. We will have a site where we can discuss The Law of Success. I think I would like to start this in Facebook. I will post the website here when it is up and the link for a free PDF download of 'The Law of Success.

TURN YOUR BRAIN ON!!!!
Current mood: accomplished
Category: Goals, Plans, Hopes

So I had a friend tell me to start Blogging. My response, "When I have something this world needs to hear I will."

So I will try to get weekly updates on my business success and what I am learning.

First, we as people need to think individually! I don't want leaders in this country to lead, but to carry out what is best for our nation. If they lead, many will follow or rebel. Just keep my rights safe! Teach the republic (we should never have a majority rule government) to think and produce more than they consume!

Producer Revolution is just that. I am a capitalist at heart. I don't want any government to steal my money to give to persons I don't know... rob from the just barely getting by to rich, and give to the poor.

This is what charity and good works are for. This government was created to keep individual freedoms safe! If I buy land, and decide that I want to raise animals on said land, keep the fed and local noses out of it. Now if my horse decides to eat my neighbor's flowers, I have allowed my property to violate another's property. This is to be rectified by the two parties previous to courts. As well if you don't own anything, you have no claim to request it be protected! Though there are many who are willing to teach you how to obtain things, objects, lands, homes, and businesses.

Produce and be sure to take responsibility for your actions! Do not blame others if you decided to invest with a bad partner. You should have looked at them with a more critical eye before investing into them.

Now for those producing more than they consume, please teach others to do this so that they can give to others and help everyone win.

I do not suggest that we allow the widow, down the street with 8 kids [cause she lived in Utah before moving out of state ;)] that just lost her husband to the war on terror, to suffer with no food. Though the men and women near her should stand up and help her to prosper. Give her a fish to tide the family hunger and then teach her how to make more. As well teach her children how to live as producers.

PRODUCTIVE MEMBER OF SOCIETY! You must produce more than you consume! Be sure to give away the first 10% of you income and blessings to others. Take one day away from your work day to bless your family and neighbors with your time and gifts. Help them with their car and house duties, help them with their yard. Visit them often and teach them through your actions that you as a human being of this earth and a CHILD OF GOD (therefore potentially being a god yourself as you chose to accept that you can become such) care for them. Love the Lord thy GOD with all your heart, Love your neighbor and yourself!

Be sure to help others as you can, but give ONE DAY A WEEK TO BLESS OTEHRS, you do this because you are blessed to live in a nation where we do not fear all the time. Where we can grow, and produce. Where we can love our neighbors and help them grow in truth!

Give the FIRST 10% of your income to help one less fortunate than yourself. Don't think our government will do it; they likely spend too much money deciding how to delegate such funds.

Be grateful for what you have, as you have the blessings of updating your property give the old to a less fortunate person whom can utilize the gift. I have a few computers that I give away often as I upgrade. I only suggest this as there are many things that we all throw away that could be given to others who are in need.

If you don't believe in a God or higher power, PRAY! Study the texts that others believe and decide after you have read them and prayed. I accept that you do not believe, but my country, my foundation, my liberty is FOUNDED UPON THE GOD OF THE TRIBES OF ISRAEL! We must remember that is what this nation was founded upon. If you don't like it, that is okay, we will never tell you that you cannot worship how, when, or where you may. In fact I won't criticize you for not worshiping. If you don't want to pledge to God when you pledge to this country your devotion when you call to the flag, that is okay. In fact I didn't pledge to the flag for a few years as I was looking for my own identity. Though I loved the fact that I was an individual of this nation so much that I did pledge to support this country and build her in the way that I believe God would have us build up this great nation. I am proud to be an American and when other's pledged to the flag, I skipped the word. I pledged to God to build this country. I now have found my belief and it is a little different. I can accept those whom do not like this country. Though how will we shape it? How will we direct her?

We must build upon principles. A great man, many may not believe in the religion he founded, but he is still a very insightful being, once said, "... teach them correct principles and let them govern themselves..." If we know the principles behind actions and decisions, we in turn can make great ethical decisions to help the world and our fellow man.

I suggest we start by building ourselves. Building our neighbors. Building this great nation!

This may seem like a shameless plug; well I care about everyone who has taken the time to read this long blog. I care so much I want to share one of many things that teach some principles of financial prosperity that I have found. www.winninginthemargins.com PASSKEY: andrek

Yes for full disclosure, if you sign on with this group I get paid. I am proud that this group was started to help single mothers have hope to be able to stay home with their children. If you decide that you want abundance and to help others, you can use this site as well! Just sign up for a passkey and share the message. I want to build a nation that the world will see as the greatest nation again. The nation that is willing to help when it is needed and leads the way for personal growth and prosperity of every human who is willing to learn and be taught!

You should look into the group that I have mentioned: Producer Revolution.

I will let you all know next week how things are going with my groups and how we can all help build each other up!

Please don't just shift with emotion and follow what shounds good at the time of debate my friends.

Once again, TURN YOUR BRAIN ON!

SWM Producer and looking ;)
Category: Romance and Relationships

So I have had a few friends tell me to post what I am looking for in a partner. Here it goes.

0. ABOVE ALL!!! Give 10% of your time, effort, and gifts to those less fortunate to you. If you can do this, you will prosper.
1. I am looking for a woman, sorry boys you just don't feel the same in my arms
2.Love God... at the very least allow me to love him and do not tell me I am worshiping in vain.
3. Know you math! You must be able to balance a check book and understand the principles of flowing cash. I will help if you want to learn, but I have too many dreams to have them spent away by my partner.
4. I want a woman who is confident, if you need me to affirm that you are beautiful, kind, sexy, smart, needed, etc... then move on to another man who will dolt over you. You will know that I love you because I build our dreams together and learn/teach the principles of wealth and prosperity to/with you.
5. You must TURN YOUR BRAIN ON!
6. Endorse capitalism. Be willing to work hard as I am looking at a political career someday. I think it will happen sooner than I would like, but I will need a partner who is willing to help others learn to produce more than they consume in life.
7. Think for yourself. Be willing to disagree with me if I am wrong, and then search for truth with me.
8. Know how to create and turn up attraction. I get paid to flirt, it is part of multiple jobs and I need a partner who can keep it up. Even if you keep trying that is all I ask.
9. Don't cry and whine that you can't. If you say it, your are correct and look for someone else to give you pity. I am here to learn and build more. I am willing to help anyone learn with me, but I refuse to sit in a mindset of 'can't'. That goes against everything my God says is true.
10. Be kind, compassionate, beautiful, and smile.
10.a. This is all in the eye of the beholder, confidence and honesty will take 90% of this where it must go.
11. Be willing to serve others with your talents as we build yourself.
12. My children will attend a private or home school. If you won't allow this move on. I will only accept that my children be taugh correct principles instead of mind numbing steps
13. Know 'The 5 Lessons a Millionaire Taught Me" This is vital to our future and growth.
14. Support Producer Revolution.
15. Be willing to manage your time and be supportive of my commitments. I am willing to spend the vast majority of my time with my partner if she wants to work on the same projects that I am.
16. MUST LIKE SUSHI!
17. I am a geek, I like RPG video games as a general rule and D&D with some high school friends. I love to create stories and develop friendships via this medium. I actually have used this to my advantage and promote many of my companies in these ways.
18. NO SMOKERS! I will allow a relationship with someone who is quitting, but I will not allow my home to be filled with tobacco's burnt stench. I love my friends who do, but I will not kiss a woman who has it in her mouth... though you can still eat sushi with me... or curry
19. Love yourself. Have self interest and build yourself everyday.
20. You must love dogs and horses. Even if you don't want to participate with my hobbies, know that I will continue to joust and play with the pack. If you want cats fine, but they will need to earn their keep too
21. Love good food. I need health in my life, so no white flour, white sugar, or any preservatives. If you like the Super Size Me life, congratutlations and be sure to check your blood glucose levels regularly. I can give some tips on glucose control when you are ready

It is a bonus if you like medieval things and rugby [cause chicks dig scars ]

If I need to make this more specific in 3 months I will, but the women I will be most interested in will understand what I am saying or will be willing to ask ;)

So with this said, let the love flow into my life and share this experience with me ladies
